Our Office, Practice & Staff
|We are a dental practice devoted to restoring function and esthetics to your dentition and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile using conservative, state-of-the-art procedures.|
Quality care is the nucleus of our practice. Dr. Wagenberg along with your restorative dentist will coordinate an individual treatment plan that will achieve maximum results. Patients are diagnosed and comprehensively treated in coordination with the interdisciplinary care of all areas of dentistry. This team approach is essential for the delivery of individualized care, consistent with patient goals and desires of our practice.
We recognize that patient needs and concerns are individual and are not limited exclusively to disease eradication, but may include self-image enhancement, esthetic concerns as well as a healthy mouth. Long term function of your dentition is our primary goal but your esthetic needs will be met as well.
Our comprehensive approach and coordination of all aspects of your therapy differentiates us from other offices. We will continue to strive to be in the forefront of dental therapy through teaching, lecturing and publishing. We have the most modern equipment available to us so that our patients receive optimal therapy in a safe and comfortable environment.
In addition to the usual dental anesthetics, IV sedation and nitrous oxide are available.
Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to see and care for you in the same day.
Education & Prevention
As a practice, we are true believers that preventive care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.
Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Training & Expertise
As your dental health professionals, we want you to be confident knowing that we are a team of highly trained and skilled clinicians. We pride ourselves in providing the care you need to keep your smile healthy. To give you the best possible service and results, we continue to strive to be in the forefront of dental therapy through teaching, lecturing and publishing. We attend dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Also, being members of various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession.
A Positive Experience
Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients as special individuals is vital to our success. We understand how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how we can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with excellent, personalized care and service to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
We thank you for allowing us to take care of your dental needs and look forward to serving you.

In memory of Judy Melvin, our beloved friend and co-worker for over 30 years. The light of her life will shine bright upon us now and forever.
In respect of your time, all of our patients will be seen on an appointment basis. We will make every effort to be on time for you. Because we are a surgical practice it is not always possible to stay exactly on time. Still, we pride ourselves on staying on schedule and will make every to keep your waiting time to a minimum. Most scheduling delays arise because of patients arriving late. Please remember to allow for unpredictable traffic and give yourself a few minutes to spare.
Payments are due at the time of service. For your convenience, we are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express and will file all insurance on your behalf. Alternative payment methods are available upon inquiry.
There is a great deal of confusion about dental insurance. Please realize that we do not work for any insurance carriers. We work for you. Our treatment recommendations are based solely on what we feel will provide the best periodontal outcome for you regardless of your coverage.
We have a staff member whose sole job is to help patients receive maximal benefits from their insurance plans. She works 24 hours per week in order to help you. By providing both dental and medical insurance information to us at your first visit we will begin immediately to file the necessary information with your company. While we cannot guarantee success in recovering our full fee, we will endeavor to do so, as a courtesy to you. Remember, each patient is responsible for their own bill.
We understand that on occasion cancellations are necessary, particularly due to illness. Please remember, though, that each appointment time is exclusively for you and without adequate time to fill the broken appointment the operatory is empty for that time. We request that two full business days’ notice is given for changes in appointments. In the case of large periodontal surgeries added notice would be appreciated. Implant dentistry requires a team of 3-4 staff members and alteration of the schedule in other areas. Please try to keep these appointments and work your schedule around this appointment. There is no cancellation fee for alterations with proper notice.
